Genesis Receive Boost with new Sponsorship deal
Genesis Receive Boost with new Sponsorship deal.
Genesis Hockey Club is delighted to announce a significant financial sponsorship deal with Cardinal Capital Group (“Cardinal”).
The sponsorship is agreed for the 2020 and 2021 hockey seasons and will enable the club put in place a five-year strategic development plan to underpin the successful growth of Genesis.
A long established investor and manager of alternative capital in Ireland, Cardinal’s dedicated team of investment professionals have significant experience managing and investing in Irish companies across a wide range of sectors. Companies in their CCI investment portfolio include; AA Ireland, Carrols Meats, Sports Surgery Clinic, Learning Pool, McCauley’s Pharmacies and City Bin.
The Cardinal team culture is one of inclusiveness and innovation, firmly built on ethics, professionalism and performance. The company places significant emphasis on inclusiveness and innovation and have sponsored ladies hockey and ladies rugby over many years. Genesis’ association with such a forward-thinking organisation will undoubtedly help bring about positive change.
How You Can Play Your Part:
Traditionally the club has relied on player subscriptions and major fundraising initiatives to cover the ever increasing annual club running costs. However, long-term sponsorship is imperative for the future of the club to build and sustain sports excellence and develop talent. To aid our focus, Cardinal has requested that the club put in place a fundraising programme for 2020/2021 to secure additional sponsors to match their donation.
The Cardinal sponsorship was secured through the reach of a club member. We want to unearth other opportunities from within the Genesis network. We ask you please to reach out and discuss with parents and extended family, friends, business associates etc. Many small and large businesses are definitely already connected to the club through a player and perhaps looking for a platform to support woman’s sport. Please open the door for Genesis and a member of the committee will then connect.
Some of the immediate new requirements for next season include;
· Pitch maintenance – in discussion with the school
· Performance Director to ensure all six teams receive the best training to maximise ability and performance in the Leinster League
· Club Administrator
· Development plan for disability hockey
· Specialist training equipment to improve our bi-weekly sessions to aid speed, skill, and agility.
· Goalie Coaching
· Maintenance of the existing video tower @ Raphaela’s, a new video camera and a Video Analysis Software subscription next season. The recording and playback of matches is integral to improving performance.
Once again, the club would like to extend a huge thank you to Cardinal Capital Group for this support and commitment to Genesis.
