Coaching

We have an inspiring team of talented coaches who bring all their invaluable experience to help develop the girls’ skills and encourage a better understanding of the game in line with the IHA’s Hooked for Life model. All our coaches have been Garda vetted and have completed the Safeguarding Course for working with Children and Genesis are facilitating our Junior coaches to complete their Irish Hockey Association (IHA) Level 1 coaching course.

 

At Genesis we believe in trying to help each player maximize their abilities and so some members from our secondary school Colts will be offered a place in the Club’s “G-Force Squad”. They will be offered an additional mid-week training session which is designed to stretch them as players and they work in a small group environment to help improve their technical skill set.
