Meet Our Coaching Team
Genesis is lucky to have a fantastic coaching team this season, led by Ronan Hickey and Chris Larkin.
Head Coach, 1st Team
Ronan Hickey
Ronan returns to Genesis for the 2026/27 season, and we couldn't be happier to have him back. He's the current Irish U18 Boys head coach, having led the team to the EuroHockey Championship II title last year, and brings a wealth of experience from coaching across several Leinster clubs — including five previous years at Genesis.
Head Coach, 2s & Juniors
Chris Larkin
Chris heads up our 2s as well as our juniors coaching setup, while continuing to play at senior level with Railway Union Hockey Club. He's coached across Genesis's junior section for several years and led the Integration Team (U20s) to back-to-back promotions, shaping his passion for developing players and building a strong team culture.
